Crusaders of the Week
![](https://mkt.shdhs.org/uploadimages/image/crusaders%283%29.jpg)
Congrats, Liz Addington, on receiving the Health Crusader of the Week. Mrs. Kaiser notes that whether the topic is on First Aid, Skeletal System, Nervous System, Nutrition, or Mindfulness Meditations, Liz Addington gives 110%. She has one of the highest percentages in the class and is excited to learn each and every day. Her energetic attitude and warm smile are rewarding to me as a teacher. Her respect and helpfulness to her classmates need to be applauded as well. Congrats Liz Addington!
Mr. Trame nominates freshman Kendall Rice for Physical Education Crusader of the Week. Kendall has done a phenomenal job in Physical Education Class. She has been there every day, giving an outstanding effort in every activity or strength/agility training. Regardless of her skill level, Kendall always brings her best to every sport or activity. In addition, Kendall always displays a cheerful disposition, an eagerness to help, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of Physical Education! Congratulations, Kendall Rice!!!
Ms. Poly recognizes Elinor Ernst as Crusader of the Week! Some may recognize her as the flying squirrel, but the Broadcast Media class knows her as the Warrioress of the Week! Congratulations Nora! This week we celebrate you. Do not be fooled by her quiet and reserved temperament; Nora is powerful, intelligent, and commanding. Her creative skills are off the charts. Her wicked sense of humor always brings a new perspective to any assignment, and she is truly committed to excellence. To say that she is a pleasure to work with is an understatement. Nora is kind, compassionate, empathetic, sensitive, and engaging. Thank you, Nora, for drumming to your own beat. You are endlessly special.

Please enjoy the pictures of the groups. Congrats to our overall winners from 6th Period STEM: Logan Thoss, Kayden Durett, Spencer Harris, and Colton Ross! Great job!
We are starting to build mousetrap cars this week, so I invite you to ask your student how their group is progressing on that project. Thanks for entrusting your child's education to SHDHS. God bless you!
