Summer College Bus Tour
Junior and Sophomore Parents -
We are getting closer to finalizing the 2023 St. Henry District High School Summer College Bus Tour details. We are planning to visit Ohio and Indiana universities Monday, June 5, through Wednesday, June 7, or Thursday, June 8. The final day of our Bus Tour will depend on the space in each of the residence halls.
We have confirmed admissions presentations and campus tours with The Ohio State University, University of Dayton, Miami University, Purdue University, Ball State University, and Butler University. *** Again, this list might change depending on if there is space for our students to stay in the residence halls.
Here are a few other things to mention:
- We will start accepting permission slips and payments in the next week or so. An email will be sent to parents and students as soon as all details have been finalized.
- The cost for the trip will be $300 per student (non-refundable), including the travel bus and our stays each night on the university campuses.
- There will need to be a minimum of 35 students to sign up for the Bus Tour in order for us to go. Payment will be refunded only if we do not reach the minimum number of students needed.
- This trip is on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be capped based on the number of seats available on the bus.
- The bus tour is only for St. Henry District High School students who are rising seniors and juniors (class of 2024 & 2025).
- Students will be required to start and end the tour with us.
More information will be shared as soon as it becomes available. If you have any questions, please contact Billy Sarge in the Counseling Department at [email protected] or 859.525.5844.

Campus Ministry
May is a special month of celebrations. It is also dedicated to our heavenly mother, Mary. We started the school year with a consecration to Mary, looked to her as a role model, and fashioned the school theme, “Arise and Go Forth,” based upon Mary’s response to God. It is fitting that we end the year asking for Mary’s help. Pope Francis's address to teens: “May Our Lady, the mother who was almost your age when she received the angel’s message and became pregnant, may she teach you to say, ‘Here I am,' do not be afraid. Take courage and go forth.” Please pray for students during exams and for seniors as they go forth from SHDHS.
Arise & Go Forth Prayer
Almighty and everlasting Father,
thank you for your friendship,
the gift of faith, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit
With Mary as our model and intercessor,
help us to ARISE and say “yes” to you.
Let Your will be done in us as it was in her.
Deliver us from fear and anxiety
And fill our hearts with joy and gladness,
As we GO FORTH to live and share the good news. Amen
