Crusaders of the Week
Ms. Vaillancourt nominates Sophomore Tasimba Chibamu as Geometry's Crusader of the Week. "It is my pleasure to nominate Tosi. Tosi is an exceptional student who always completes his work on time and to the best of his ability. He is always the first student to offer answers to questions and participate in class discussions. Beyond that, Tosi assists his fellow classmates in understanding concepts, joins group work with enthusiasm, and offers to help whoever is in need. Tosi is a pleasure to have in class and a perfect example of what it means to be a Crusader." Mrs. Maloney nominates Senior Audrey Holian as AP Biology's Crusader of the Week." "Audrey brings a cheerful attitude and diligent work ethic to class daily. She has a "can do" attitude and manages her time and workload well in this difficult course. SHADOW VISITS / FAMILY TOURS Family Tours are an excellent way for families to walk the school and have those one-on-one conversations with the principal. The family tours are typically after the regular school day has ended. They usually last about an hour and a half. Families can schedule a tour of SHDHS. |

SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION
New members participated in the initiation ceremony, led by President Rachel Esquivel and Vice President Allison Torres-Guzman. Current members and officers also welcomed the family members of the new inductees and shared in teaching them about the service and activities of the club. We are excited for this upcoming year and thrilled to have our new members join our chapter of la Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica.

VETERANS DAY PRESENTATION
CALLING ALL SHDHS ALUMNI ARTISTS!! St. Henry District High School is honored to invite all alums to participate in our 3rd annual Alumni Art Show. Last year's show had various classes represented, including 1943 and 1964! Let's have YOU be the artist representing your class this year! Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of ANY media, including 3D and digital. All 2D pieces must be framed OR matted for hanging. Size restrictions are 32x40 or smaller. You may submit artwork at the SHDHS school office between 8 am and 3 pm before October 25. The show will run November 3 and 4 from 5–7 pm with our Fall Play "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" performing directly after, so please join us for that event as well! |
