Information from the Front OfficeAt A Glance - Important upcoming important dates 12/1 - First Friday Dismissal, 1:00 pm SCHOOL CALENDAR ST HENRY PARENT ADVISORY BOARD OPENINGS The Saint Henry Parent Advisory Board, which advises and supports the school's administrators, in the domains of Catholic Identity, academic excellence, and operations, currently has openings for parent representatives needed from the following parishes; Saint Timothy, St. Barbara, Saint Paul, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Mary, Queen of Heaven. The board meets approximately four to six times a year with meetings lasting from an hour to an hour-and-a-half. We will meet this coming Tuesday, November 7 at 6:00 PM in the guidance office conference room. If interested please contact either Principal Brannen at [email protected], or Jill Felix at [email protected] REQUIRED WORKBOOKS AND SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS INVOICED Some classes require students to purchase workbooks and supplementary materials. Items were available in their classrooms during the first week of school. Invoices were emailed through your FACTS account and are due by November 30. Mrs. VonHandorf nominates Freshman Kate Quinn for Crusader of the Week for Art 1. "Kate Quinn is being nominated for her passion, hard work, determination, and growth. Kate sets a great example for her peers by doing her absolute best day in and day out and demonstrating respectful, kind, and understanding behavior. I am always impressed by how much effort and time she puts into her pieces and how intricate her attention to detail is. She is a true asset to our classroom, and I am extremely excited to see where this talent takes her! WAY TO ROCK, KATE!" Mrs. Hasken nominates Junior LIzzie Casey for Crusader of the Week for Spanish 3 Honors. "Lizzie always volunteers to participate in class and helps her classmates. 2023 BENEFACTOR BRUNCH CRU BID and BASH - HELP NEEDED! SHADOW VISITS / FAMILY TOURS Family Tours are an excellent way for families to walk the school and have one-on-one conversations with faculty. The family tours typically occur after the regular school day has ended. They usually last about an hour and a half. HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST (HSPT) - Saturday, December 9, 2023

FEC NewsFEC MEETING - Monday, 11/6, 6 pm All are welcome to join us at our upcoming FEC meeting in the media center this coming Monday at 6 pm. Some items on the agenda will be the CRU BASH, Faculty/Staff Holiday Gifts, Service Updates, and Parent Nights at Boys/Girls Basketball home games. We welcome new faces and fresh ideas!! PARENT NIGHTS at BASKETBALL HOMEGAMES - Save the dates! The FEC is partnering with Athletics to host two parent nights - Friday, 12/1, for Boys' Basketball and Tuesday, 1/16, for Girls' Basketball. There will be a special parent section, spirit theme, hospitality area, and more! Mark your calendars and be on the lookout for more details soon!

You’ve asked, and we’ve listened… You can play pickleball at the SHAC in the evening! Starting Monday, November 6, the SHAC will have three pickleball courts open from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Mondays. The courts will be available by reservation only, no walk-ins will be accepted. The cost is $20 per court for an hour of play. If pickleball isn’t your thing and you’d rather work on your golf swing, book some time in our brand-new golf simulator! The cost is $25 for an hour of play. See you at the SHAC! RESALE SHOP As the weather starts changing, it’s time to clean out your closet. If you have any old St. Henry Spiritwear clothing items that don’t fit or get worn anymore, send them to a good cause. Campus Ministry NewsNext SHDHS Community Sunday Mass Our second SHDHS Community Sunday Mass will be THIS Sunday, November 5, at the 11:00 am Mass at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 4042 Turkeyfoot Rd., Erlanger. All students and families are welcome to join us. Coach Trame will meet students from 10:45 until the beginning of Mass and then sit on the right side of the Church.
