Crusaders of the Week
Mrs. VonHandorf nominates Freshman Kate Quinn for Crusader of the Week for Art 1.
"Kate Quinn is being nominated for her passion, hard work, determination, and growth. Kate sets a great example for her peers by doing her absolute best day in and day out and demonstrating respectful, kind, and understanding behavior. I am always impressed by how much effort and time she puts into her pieces and how intricate her attention to detail is. She is a true asset to our classroom, and I am extremely excited to see where this talent takes her! WAY TO ROCK, KATE!"
Mrs. Hasken nominates Junior LIzzie Casey for Crusader of the Week for Spanish 3 Honors.
"Lizzie always volunteers to participate in class and helps her classmates. She asks thoughtful questions that go beyond the surface level of a topic. She has a positive attitude and admirable work ethic. ¡Felicidades Lizzie!

This year's event recognized supporters of the June Kohorst Kroger Memorial Scholarship, the Sara Meineke Memorial Scholarship, the Brent Rouse Memorial Scholarship, the Bill Tobergte Memorial Scholarship, the Beth Wendling Memorial Scholarship, the Nick Wilde Memorial Scholarship, the John and Joyce Berning Memorial Scholarship, the Jim Paul Memorial Scholarship, the Walter, Louise, and Martha Schmeing Memorial Scholarship and the Knights of St. John Honorary Scholarship. SHADOW VISITS / FAMILY TOURS
Experience a day in the life of a St. Henry District High School student. Prospective 7th or 8th-grade students or transfer students can register to spend a school day on the SHDHS campus, attend classes, eat lunch, speak with teachers, and visit with other students. There is something for everyone at SHDHS! Spaces are limited.
Shadow Visit Registration
Family Tours are an excellent way for families to walk the school and have one-on-one conversations with faculty. The family tours typically occur after the regular school day has ended. They usually last about an hour and a half.

- If your student has a current formalized education plan (i.e., ALP, IEP, 504, etc.) and plans to request accommodations for the HSPT, they must be pre-registered by December 1, and the Accommodations option must be selected (this allows time for a thorough review of records for accommodation planning purposes). - The registration deadline for those requesting an audio reader is November 21 (to allow time for those materials to be ordered). If you have specific questions regarding accommodations, please contact Laci Shea ([email protected]).

Per diocesan guidelines, SHDHS can only offer merit-based HSPT Scholarships to students who take the HSPT at St. Henry District High School.

"People say, 'What is the sense of our small effort?' They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time. A pebble cast into a pond causes ripples that spread in all directions. Each one of our thoughts, words and deeds is like that. No one has a right to sit down and feel hopeless. There's too much work to do." - Dorothy Day
