Dear Crusader Families, As many of you may be aware, on April 8th, our area will be witnessing a Solar Eclipse, a rare astronomical event. This event brings many logistical concerns as communities are planning events to witness the Eclipse. One of our school concerns is the potential for distracted drivers attempting to view the eclipse, which could impact the safety of our students leaving campus. Therefore, we have decided, along with some of our feeder schools, to dismiss school at 1:00 pm on April 8th. This will let our students and staff view the Solar Eclipse safely at their preferred location. Thank you for your understanding. -- Grant Brannen, Principal This message was sent to by info@shdhs.org.
