CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Kaiser-Munday nominates Freshman Kaleigh McCormack for Crusader of the Week for AP Human Geography.
"Kayleigh works incredibly hard to perfect her craft. She studies hard, asks quality questions, works independently and with others well, and wants to learn. The desire to learn and grow is deep within Kayleigh and is noticeable. She also is kind to all she encounters and is willing to collaborate with anyone. She also has a competitive streak that is fun to observe, as is noticed in her smacktalk of Thomas Malthus. Congratulations, Kayleigh, and good luck on the AP exam!"
Mrs. Veith nominates Freshman Gwen Ogonek for Crusader of the Week for English Honors I.
English I Honors is a class that challenges many students; however, this year, the students have striven to meet that challenge, and among this stellar group, Gwen Ogonek shines brightly. Gwen demonstrates a sophistication of ideas and writing in all of her assignments. She is thoughtful, kind, and insightful. She comes prepared to class every day and works well with other students, demonstrates kindness and consideration, and encourages her peers. Furthermore, she never rests on her laurels but actively works to improve her skills and gain a new understanding of other perspectives. She is a pleasure to have in class. Congratulations, Gwen!

The IP is a free family of self-assessment career exploration tools that can help individuals discover the type of work activities and occupations they would like and find exciting. The IP can be self-administered and self-interpreted, and the results can be directly linked to over 900 occupations in the O*NET Online database. The completion time for the IP is approximately 20 minutes.
