CAREER EXPLORATION PROCESS
Student and Parents:
Students can take free career assessments in April and register for optional Flex sessions to discuss their results. Online career assessments are for career exploration purposes only, and the results are not definitive. This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to discuss post-secondary options and future career opportunities.
Assessment featured this week: O*NET Interest Profiler: The O*NET Interest Profiler (IP) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor. The IP is a free family of self-assessment career exploration tools that can help individuals discover the type of work activities and occupations they would like and find exciting. The IP can be self-administered and self-interpreted, and the results can be directly linked to over 900 occupations in the O*NET Online database. The completion time for the IP is approximately 20 minutes.
