Welcome from our Principal
Dear Crusader Families,
I am so proud of our students, faculty, and families for making our first week of the 2021-2022 school year a success. The packed hallways, noisy cafeteria, smiles at lunch, and classroom arrangements without social distancing, have brought energy and excitement to our staff. Your commitment to following COVID guidelines to keep our students in school is greatly appreciated. The health and safety of our students and families is our top priority as we move toward "normalcy."
We want to thank all of those who helped make the start of the new school year so memorable for our newest senior class. This past Monday, the class of 2022 was welcomed with food and drinks from Chick-fil-A and Dunkin' Donuts, made possible by the generosity of Arlinghaus Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning. Each senior also received a cinch bag with a variety of special treats. Thank you to Heather Arlinghaus and all of our senior parent volunteers for organizing this special event.
Please welcome our new faculty and staff. Below is a short bio and picture of each new member.
"Stand Firm in Faith", our school theme this year, is appropriate in today’s climate as we cultivate young minds. Please keep us in your prayers as we navigate the challenges of a successful school year.

Congratulations FSP Team
Saint Henry District High School (SHDHS) won second place at the annual Future Problem Solving Program International’s (FPSPI) Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS) competition that was held virtually on June 10th. The Crusaders competed against schools from all over the world. GIPS is the highest level of competition for Future Problem Solving (FPS) teams that advanced from all of the FPS affiliate competitions throughout the year. The GIPS team writers for Saint Henry are James Carroll, Griffin Gould, Gracie Greber, and Sydney Hennessey. Alternates for the GIPS team include Harry Barsan, Carson Gould, and Sean Ihrig. The FPS coach is Melinda Gould, assisted by Michael Fay.
We are very proud of these exceptional students and the hard work that they put in this year to represent their school and the state of Kentucky on the world stage. In recognition of this accomplishment, on August 3rd, City of Erlanger Mayor Jessica Fette issued a proclamation that August 4th, 2021 will be called St. Henry Future Problem Solvers Day. Congratulations, Crusaders!

Campus Ministry
Stand Firm in Faith
“Get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness of what you have seen [of me] and what you will be shown.” Acts 26:16 Inspired by this scripture from the Acts of the Apostles and by the example of St. Paul's conversion, we too stand on our feet, trusting that God is leading the way and will illuminate our path. It is a blessing to serve students and families at SHDHS. Please contact the Campus Ministry staff this year when you are in need of prayer, information about retreats, service, or spiritual guidance. Our Campus Ministry Team: Chaplain, Fr. Matt Cushing (St. Timothy Church), Mrs. Angie Poat,[email protected], Campus Minister, and Mr. Zack Zvosecz, [email protected], Service Coordinator.
