HAPPY RETIREMENT MRS. ANN MALONEY!
SHDHS would like to congratulate Ann Maloney on her retirement and thank her for her 22 years of service! Since her first day at SHDHS, Mrs. Maloney has been a stalwart Crusader, dedicated to education and passionate about the sciences! Mrs. Maloney has helped countless students and teachers realize their potential. Her passion and creativity both inside and out of the classroom through leadership in the Transfer Club, New Teacher Orientation, Healthcare Careers Club, Student Council, and so many other endeavors have left lasting impressions on SHDHS. No words can express our gratitude to Mrs. Maloney. She will be greatly missed!
Eleven math scholars participated in this year's Trig-Star competition, which is an annual extra-curricular mathematics competition sponsored by the National Society of Professional Surveyors based on the practical application of Trigonometry. This past week, local surveyor Tim Ryan presented Nathan Francis with a check for $500, as he was crowned Trig-Star champion for the state of KY! Nathan will now prepare to take the national exam this summer with a chance to win $2,000. Congratulations, Nathan!
