CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Vieth nominates Senior Ashley Kessans for Crusader of the Week for AP English Literature.
"For AP English Literature, any number of students deserve the Crusader of the Week for a variety of reasons; however, this student has shown tremendous growth over the last four years in her writing and her confidence. Ash is one of the many students who have stuck with Ms. Vieth through their trek in AP and Honors English. However, Ash has never viewed her English skills as much of a strength; rather, she argues that her math and science skills define her as a student. While she may be gifted in those disciplines, Ash has also developed a clear and comprehensible style that helps her execute on the AP level in both AP English Language and AP English Literature. Most importantly she models Christian behavior as she treats her teachers and her classmates with kindness and respect. She is a pleasure to have in class. Congratulations Ash!"
Mrs. Kaiser-Munday nominates Freshman Olivia Spaulding for Crusader of the Week for AP Human Geography.
"Olivia Spaulding is the definition of what a student in an AP Human Geography class should be, diligent, hardworking, willing to meet a challenge head on, curious, and fun! She truly wants to learn and is self-aware to know her limitations and ask for help. She's always willing to listen to her colleagues and talk to those around her. Olivia wants to grow in her knowledge and will succeed in this class because she wants to and is willing to do everything asked and beyond! Thank you, Olivia, for being an AP HuG Super Star!"
