EMPOWERING GOD'S CHILDREN
SHDHS will administer the fall semester Empowering God's Children training sessions to students on Tuesday, November 19. We ask that parents fill out the following permission form by Sunday, November 10. Whether the parents "opt in" or "opt out," we must have a permission form on file for ALL STUDENTS.
Digital permission form
PURPOSE: Empowering God's Children is an age-appropriate comprehensive program through which educators (teachers, catechists, and youth ministers) and parents can give children and youth the tools they need to protect themselves and know what to do if someone tries to violate their boundaries. Each year, the program provides a theme that introduces and builds on the basic concepts of the Teaching Boundaries and Safety Guide.
Fall Break Notice
St. Henry District High School will be closed for Fall Break from Friday, November 1, through Tuesday, November 5. Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 6. We hope everyone enjoys a restful break, and we look forward to welcoming our students back refreshed and ready to continue the semester!

CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Ackerman nominates Junior Thomas Crawford for Crusader of the Week for English III, CP1.
"Thomas is an exceptional student who consistently excels in every aspect of class. His work ethic is truly commendable—he approaches every assignment with a desire to not only meet but exceed expectations. Thomas is highly engaged in class discussions, offering insightful perspectives. It's clear that he takes pride in the quality of his work and is dedicated to continual growth and improvement. Congratulations, Thomas!"
Mr. Graue nominates Sophomore Riley Young for Crusader of the Week for World History.
"If grades were the only thing to be considered for this award, there would be many deserving candidates, but what separates Riley from others is her positive attitude, willingness to help her classmates and her consistent hard work. Riley excels academically and is also involved with our school shadow program and is perfect for the role since she embodies what it means to be a Crusader. Congrats, Riley, and I know you will keep up the good work."
