OPENING NIGHT -TONIGHT!! COME SEE THIS SPECTACULAR SHOW!
TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

Geometry students are learning about the properties of triangles by creating unique artwork out of triangles! Triangles can be used to create a variety of things, including bridges and roadways, but in class this week, we learned they can also be used to create elephants and giraffes too! Our students got inventive and created a variety of awesome images!!

- The exterior windows and doors have been labeled in accordance with NIMS (National Incident Management System) recommendations. This helps emergency responders navigate the building and access students quickly in an emergency.
- Some changes have been made to the daily routines within the school to increase student safety. This is based on what has been learned through analyzing past school critical incidents.
- During Red Ribbon Week, guests from the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force presented a drug awareness program. These officers shared real-life experiences on current drug trends and their dangers.
- Expect more traffic issues as construction on Donaldson Highway shifts in the upcoming weeks/months. We will email you as we learn more about the changes.
- We ask for your continued patience. Also, set a good example for your teens by putting your phones down and paying attention. This will help expedite your time in the parking lot and prevent accidents.
Thank you for allowing me to be here with your students!

CRUSADER OF THE WEEK

Mrs. Vaillancourt nominates Sophomore Michael Bischoff for Crusader of the Week for Honors Geometry.
"Michael started the year out in CP Geometry and early in the year requested to be moved up to honors for more of a challenge. Michael has continued to push himself every week to maintain the rigor of an honors-level class. He works well with others, participates in class discussions, and pushes himself to be the best he can be daily. Congratulations, Michael, for maintaining your streak!!! You are a pleasure to have in class."
Mr. Otte nominates Freshman Jackson Auer for Crusader of the Week for Biology Honors.
"Jackson is an outstanding student who excels both in the classroom and in the laboratory. He always has a great attitude and work ethic and contributes to class either by answering questions, going to the board, or adding to discussions. Congratulations, Jackson, and keep up the great work."

Introducing the Tuesday for Teachers Initiative
This Thanksgiving season, we’re counting our blessings—and at the heart of our gratitude are the remarkable teachers who make St. Henry District High School a place of learning, growth, and faith. As a token of appreciation for their tireless dedication, we are excited to introduce Tuesday for Teachers, a new initiative designed to celebrate and support our faculty.
What is Tuesday for Teachers?
Launching on Giving Tuesday, Tuesday for Teachers will establish a Teacher Incentive Fund to enhance teacher appreciation and retention. This fund will provide resources for:
- Bonuses to reward excellence.
- Holiday gifts that bring extra cheer.
- Awards and incentives to recognize outstanding achievements.
- Grants and professional development opportunities to foster growth.
- Classroom supplies to enrich the learning environment.
- Wellness programs to nurture our teachers' well-being.
With your help, our goal is to raise $10,000 to jumpstart this initiative. To make this vision a reality, a generous donor has pledged to match every donation dollar for dollar up to $10,000 on Giving Tuesday!
How You Can Help
Join us on Giving Tuesday, December 3, and make a gift to the Tuesday for Teachers fund. Regardless of size, every donation will directly support the incredible educators who inspire our students daily.
To sustain this effort, we’ll also spotlight our teachers and departments each month in our Tuesday for Teachers campaign. Stay tuned for stories that show the impact of your generosity.
Together, let’s show our teachers how much they mean to the SHDHS community. Thank you for participating in this mission to celebrate, uplift, and retain our amazing faculty.

HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT PREP CLASSES
To help prepare students for the High School Placement Test (HSPT), we offer specialized prep classes on December 3 and December 10 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at SHDHS. Led by experienced instructors, these classes are designed to build confidence and review essential topics, ensuring students feel prepared for test day. Register here.
HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST (HSPT)
The High School Placement Test is an essential step in your student’s high school journey, and we encourage all prospective students to take this test at St. Henry District High School on Saturday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Students who take the HSPT at SHDHS qualify for valuable scholarship opportunities, including:
- The Stan Robinson Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to the male student with the highest score on SHDHS’s 8th Grade Placement Test.
- The Susan Wolff Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to the female student with the highest SHDHS 8th Grade Placement Test score.
- Dr. Edward P. Smith and Mary Klein Smith Scholarship Fund: Students scoring in the top 10% on SHDHS’s 8th Grade Placement Test are eligible for this scholarship.
Please take a moment to read a special letter from Most Reverend John C. Iffert, Bishop of Covington, regarding the significance of the HSPT. Click here to read.
Register here for the HSPT at SHDHS.
SHADOW VISITS
We welcome prospective students to shadow a current student for a day at SHDHS. This unique experience allows them to get a firsthand look at our classes, meet our students, and immerse themselves in the daily life of a Crusader. Register here.

- We’re also offering a new spectator ticket for those that want to come for dinner but aren’t playing euchre. This ticket will include dinner and unlimited soft drinks for $25.
The silent auction, split the pot and cash bar will be available to players, spectators and anyone who wants to just stop by and hang out with us for the night. No need to register if you're not planning on joining us for dinner.
It’s going to be a blast! Registration form
Can't make the euchre tournament? Give to the Carrie Williams Memorial Foundation online at any time.
If you’re interested in sponsorship opportunities, donating to our silent auction, or a high school student looking for service hour opportunities, please contact info@carriewilliamsmemorial.org.
The Carrie Williams Memorial Foundation was founded in 2022 by Carrie's family, with the mission of assisting students in financial need at local Catholic schools. Education was Carrie's passion, and this was evident in the love she poured into her students. This scholarship helps her passion live on.
