National School Counseling Week, February 3-7, 2025, highlights the tremendous impact school counselors have in helping students achieve school success and plan for life after high school.
The SHDHS Counseling Team considers it a privilege to serve St. Henry students and families. We appreciate your continued support!

The Counseling Department is thrilled to have Anna Eilerman, SHDHS Class of 2021, serving as an intern for the Spring 2025 semester. Anna graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December 2024, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She plans to start graduate school in the fall to pursue a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. Anna's internship is funded through the AmeriCorps program. Anna will be assisting the Counseling Dept. with college and career readiness initiatives.

CRUSADER OF THE WEEK

Mr. Patti nominates Junior Jack Lewis for Crusader of the Week for Religion.
"Jack embodies the qualities of an exceptional student. He is actively engaged in class discussions, consistently participates, diligently completes his assignments both in and out of class, and demonstrates a strong work ethic in pursuit of success in all aspects of his life. What truly distinguishes Jack is his remarkable ability to recognize and apply classroom material to real-world situations. For instance, during our current study of Justice within Catholic Social Doctrine, Jack readily connects textbook definitions to contemporary issues, demonstrating a deep understanding of the subject matter and its implications."
Mr. Faust nominates Senior Eva Klein for Crusader of the Week for Economics.
"Eva brings a pleasant attitude and a smile every day to class. Eva has shown self-motivation and is willing to work very hard to succeed. She is very attentive and inquisitive in class. Besides being a good student, Eva is a great help to me in the 2nd-period study hall! Congratulations, Eva!"
Mrs. Thelen, Mrs. Shea, & Mrs. Ryan nominate Freshman Landon Vaniglia for Crusader of the Week for AAIMS I.
"Landon has made a seamless transition to high school and embodies what it means to be a Crusader. Landon actively participates in class discussions, displays a sincere interest in the life lessons being taught by his teachers, and is dedicated to his academic success by advocating for help during Flex or class when needed. Most important, however, is the smile that Landon greets teachers and classmates with each day and the kindness and sincerity he exudes. We are proud of you, Landon! Keep up the great work."
