Cru Families,
I want to take a moment to address the eastbound traffic light on Donaldson near our school. As you know, the ongoing Donaldson expansion has created traffic challenges and inconveniences for our community. While I believe the completed project will ultimately benefit St. Henry, we must navigate the construction in the meantime.
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students. I have reached out to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) multiple times regarding the eastbound light at Donaldson. While they have installed a flashing light to improve driver awareness, I have strongly advocated for a left-turn signal in the morning to better assist our student drivers and families. Unfortunately, despite discussions, KYTC has determined that a left-turn signal is not warranted at this time.
To enhance safety and reduce congestion, Mrs. Chapman, our SRO, and I recommend that student drivers consider an alternate route to school that approaches from the westbound direction, such as Houston Road or Dixie Highway, to avoid making a left turn into campus. Please remain alert and drive cautiously, especially in the construction zone.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to keeping our students safe!
Grant Brannen
CRUSADER OF THE WEEK

Mrs. Brady nominates Junior Evan Parhad for Crusader of the Week for AP United States History.
"Evan is a joy to have in class. He has been consistent from the start, excelling at the many challenges our APUSH course produces, but most impressively, Evan has continued to work hard to master each and every topic and skill throughout our periods of study. Most recently, he aced his DBQ, demonstrating a firm understanding of the subject matter and a command of the writing process. Evan’s success seems effortless at times, but judging by his engagement in class and his diligence outside of class, he clearly holds himself to a high standard and wants to always do his best. Congratulations, Evan, keep being an APUSH superstar!"
Mrs. VonHandorf nominates Sophomore Autumn Davison for Crusader of the Week for Art 2.
"Autumn is receiving Crusader of the Week for Art 2 in recognition of not only her exceptional talent and abilities but also her friendly demeanor, fun personality, engaging questions, and extremely insightful feedback. Mrs. Von has a genuine appreciation for Autumn's curiosity, individuality, and spunk. She is such a joy to have in class, and we are very excited to see what her bright artistic future has in store for her. WAY TO ROCK, AUTUMN!"
