CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
.jpg)
Mrs. Vieth nominates Junior Ellise Armbruster for Crusader of the Week for AP English Language.
"Some coaches bestow a 110% award on players who deliver a stupendous effort on the court, track, or field that raises them above the abilities of ordinary mortals. The student who employs this kind of drive and achieves great success in the AP English Language class is Ellise Armbruster. Ellise is a bright student who has committed herself to improving her analytical, reading, and writing skills in the AP course. She is not afraid to do the hard things and she reaps the benefits. Most importantly, she is a kind, respectful, and supportive classmate to her peers. She is a pleasure to have in class. Congratulations, Ellise!"
Ms. Cruz nominates Freshman Geneva Miller for Crusader of the Week for American Sign Language 1.
"Geneva's tenacity and resilience in ASL has been phenomenal! This language is not always easy, and she has put in the hours of studying and hard work to get to where she is now. She is walking proof that hard work pays off where she can now make this class look like a piece of cake. I am so proud of you, Geneva!"
Mrs. Kaiser nominates Junior Emily Helmers for Crusader of the Week for Health.
"Emily Helmers is a junior student taking a freshman health class, Emily has demonstrated an exceptional level of maturity that sets her apart from her classmates. Despite being an upperclassman, she approaches the course material with a thoughtful and respectful attitude, always encouraging the freshmen to engage in discussions and share their perspectives. Emily displays patience and a willingness to explain things in her terms to help others understand complex topics. Emily maintains an awesome grade and a positive attitude in an all freshman class that highlights not only her dedication to the subject but also her maturity in handling diverse situations with grace. This makes Emily Helmers a deserving recipient of Crusader of the Week for her outstanding leadership and maturity in the freshman health class."
