Tickets go on sale March 25 and the drawing will be April 16—stay tuned for an email and social media updates! This is a bourbon lover’s dream, with 13 winners this year, including a grand prize of a 20-Year Pappy Van Winkle, valued at over $2,000. Only 250 tickets will be sold!
All proceeds benefit St. Henry District High School, providing tuition assistance and helping to keep education affordable for families. Even if you are not a bourbon enthusiast, your ticket purchase supports a great cause!

Thank You for Helping Us Reach Our Fund-A-Need Goal for the Walk-In Cooler!
We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, alumni, and friends, we have reached our Fund-A-Need goal and have officially ordered a new walk-in cooler for our school kitchen!
Your donations will make a lasting impact by ensuring our students continue to receive fresh, high-quality meals while also improving energy efficiency and reducing costly repairs.
We should have a full accounting from the Crusader Knight of Giving (formerly CRU Bid & Bash) after the completion of the Bourbon Raffle. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported SHDHS—your generosity continues to make a difference!

For the first time in almost two decades, an SHDHS student has placed in the Top Ten in a Content Assessment subject area at the Governor's Cup State Finals, beating hundreds of students from across the Commonwealth. Congratulations to Freshman Luke Jankowski for placing 7th in Social Studies! He spent several years building his knowledge base in this subject area and has exploded onto the high school scene this year.
Congratulations also to the whole Academic Team on their performance at the Governor's Cup State Finals! The team consists of Captain Wendy Daniels, Stefany Nix, Luke Jankowski, Peter Holocher, Hudson Feinauer, and Aneesh Sehgal. After five grueling rounds of Quick Recall, the team was unsuccessful in advancing on to the second day of competition, but they ended their season ranked 17th in the state!

Congratulations to our lucky winners of the March Madness Watch Party's auction item! On March 20 & 21, a group of excited students got to skip class, cheer on their favorite teams in their NCAA gear, and enjoy a pizza lunch with plenty of snacks and drinks. What better way to spend the day than watching the first round of the tournament with friends? Thank you to all who bid and supported SHDHS!
CRUSADER OF THE WEEK

Mr. Denning nominates Senior Ainsley Potter for Crusader of the Week for Government.

She regularly demonstrates interest in both the overall meaning of class topics as well as particular points of detail. Her generally positive attitude and willingness to be involved makes every class just a bit better. Thanks, Ainsley!"
Mrs. Rudy nominates Senior Magdalene Jump for Crusader of the Week for English IV.
"Magdalene is a genuine model of respect, kindness, intellect, and maturity. She consistently demonstrates compassion for others and shows those around her that being herself, making good choices, working hard, and celebrating others' achievements help create a better and more successful school community and academic environment for learning. Not only does Magdalene complete her work with diligence and critical depth but she is always willing to go above and beyond classroom expectations to ensure her success in the future. SHDHS is asking ALL families to complete the FACTS Financial Aid application for the 25-26 School Year
The FACTS Financial Aid application opened on January 6, 2025. We are asking that all SHDHS families complete this application regardless of need. In doing so, you will help our school receive funding to help lower the cost of education for all students. Applicants can use 2023 Tax returns and 2024 W-2. We ask that all families submit their applications by April 1, 2025. For those families that apply and qualify for financial aid, the first round of award notifications will be made on April 30, 2025. Please click here to apply. For questions, contact Connie Cornett at ccornett@shdhs.org.
PLEASE NOTE RE: TUXEDO RENTALS
This year, Schrader's Formal Wear will NOT be coming to campus to rent Prom tuxedos to our students. Families will need to initiate the rental process on their own. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
SHDHS seniors and juniors are invited to the 2025 Prom. These students can invite guests from SHDHS or other schools if the guest is a sophomore, junior, senior, or 2024 high school graduate. Parents should complete the form linked here to buy tickets. Digital tickets will be emailed during the week leading up to the event; hopefully, this will be more convenient as attendees will not have to keep track of the tickets.
