This is the final regularly scheduled newsletter for the 2024–2025 school year. Over the summer, newsletters will be sent monthly in June and July (or as needed), and we will resume our weekly schedule in August as we begin the 2025–2026 school year.

On May 16, the listed students of the Class of 2025 participated in the Scholarship Academic Signing in the Drees Homes Auditorium. To participate, these students met one or both of the following criteria: The student is accepted to a university with an admissions rate of 50% or less and plans to enroll at that university and/or the student earned a merit-based scholarship and/or athletic scholarship worth 50% or more of the listed tuition price, and the student plans to enroll at that university. (The total amount of scholarships awarded does not include the KEES scholarship or any other need-based financial assistance.)

Congratulations to Maggie Kute and Lyndsey Payne!
These two standout tennis athletes won the All-A Doubles Tournament and advanced as Region Semifinalists, earning a qualifier spot at State! This is an incredible accomplishment – the first time in over a decade that St. Henry Girls Tennis has made it to State! Your hard work, determination, and teamwork have made Cru history!

WE NEED HELP! - Summer Parish Festivals
SHDHS will be setting up booths at several local Parish festivals to help spread the word about our amazing school. Our Student Ambassadors will be there chatting with festival guests and handing out SHDHS swag—but we need a few adults to help supervise.
If you can hang out at the booth for an hour or two (or even the whole 3–5 hour shift), we would really appreciate it! It is a fun, easy way to support SHDHS and cheer on our students as they represent the school.

KY DRIVERS LICENSE FORMS - SUMMER PROCEDURES
To request the Kentucky Compliance Form, please contact the front office, either by calling 859-525-0255 or send an email to front-office@shdhs.org.
The form cannot be faxed or emailed, it must be picked up in person.
SUMMER WORK STUDY PROGRAM - FULL
The SHDHS Summer Work Study Program is now full. Thank you to all the students who signed up—we look forward to a great summer!
EARN MONEY FOR TUITION
Did you know you can work at Reds games, Bengals games, Cyclones games, FCC, NKU, XU and UC games and concerts to earn money towards your tuition at Catholic schools...including high schools? Here are four groups you can work through. Send them an email and see what is available. Payment is sent directly to the school. Several of our school families are making payments this way.

BOYS BASKETBALL OPEN GYMS
Boys Basketball open gyms will be held on Wednesday, June 11 & June 18 No open gyms will take place on June 4th.

Collecting used items that you and your family no longer want or need. We’d appreciate athletic shoes (running shoes, soccer & baseball cleats), athletic shorts, t-shirts/jerseys/athletic shirts, uniforms, deflated balls (any sport), bats, baseballs, baseball gloves, goalie gloves, shin guards, socks, sandals, and flip flops.
The SHDHS Athletic Department will be accepting donations both in their office and here at the SHAC. Please drop the items in the blue box in the lobby.
Donations will be accepted until Tuesday, June 3.

SUMMER MATH ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
The Math program is designed to enhance math skills and remediate basic math concepts to better position students for the school year. The program provides support for those needing to review Algebra I. Register here.
- Dates: starting July 8 & 10, July 15 & 17, July 22 & 24, July 29 & July 31
- Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 11:00 am
- Cost: $225.00
SUMMER ENGLISH ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
The English summer enhancement program is designed to reinforce students’ skills essential for a successful transition into a high-school-level class. Students will practice critical reading techniques such as close reading, note-taking, and annotating to increase comprehension. Additionally, students will incorporate writing tools to communicate, develop, and support ideas effectively in an organized and focused manner. Register Here.
