Beginning Friday, July 25th, and continuing for the next two weeks, our Front Entrance (with the stoplight) will be closed due to construction on Donaldson Highway. During this time, the west entrance (located by Gumz Family Track & Field), which has been closed over the past year, will reopen. Please note that this entrance will allow right turns only—both in and out.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience, but we appreciate your patience as the work is completed.
The good news is that we’ve been promised both entrances will be fully open by the first day of school on August 11th.
If anything changes, we will let you know

Back to school pre-sale is on NOW!!! All pre-sale orders will close July 25 and will be set to arrive before school starts. After July 25th only in-stock items will be available for purchase. MATH CLASS CALCULATOR
Most upper level math classes require a TI-84 calculator. Be on the lookout for sales prices in the next few weeks as they tend to be discounted at the beginning of the school year. Another option is to borrow a used TI-84 from an older friend or relative who doesn't need it anymore. (Please do not purchase a TI-89, TI-Inspire, or other calculator brands like Casio or NumWorks.)
Students in the following classes will need a TI-84:
- Algebra 2 CP1
- Algebra 2 Honors
- Pre-Calculus
- Pre-Calculus Honors
- Advanced Topics
- AP Statistics
- AP Calculus

KY DRIVERS LICENSE FORMS - SUMMER PROCEDURES
To request the Kentucky Compliance Form, please contact the front office, either by calling 859-525-0255 or send an email to front-office@shdhs.org.
The form cannot be faxed or emailed, it must be picked up in person. Please note our summer office hours when making your request.
CLASS SCHEDULES
Our Counseling Department and Administration have been working diligently on the Master Schedule. We are pleased to inform you that student class schedules are available on July 29.
Please note the following when reviewing your class schedule:
- A new master schedule (what classes will be offered during what period each day) is created every year based on student course requests. While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate a student's course requests, their final class schedule will be dictated by the master schedule.
Important considerations regarding schedule change requests:
- There has to be a legitimate reason to submit a schedule change request. Students may not request a schedule change because they want a different teacher or want to be in a class with their friends.
- When students submit their course requests, they are instructed to select an elective(s) and they are also required to submit alternate requests so we know what class(es) they are interested in taking if their first choice elective(s) are not available. If your first choice elective(s) does not appear on your class schedule, the class(es) wouldn’t fit due to master schedule constraints and/or space availability.
- If a student requests a schedule change, we will do our best to honor the request but cannot guarantee it.
- To help us manage this process efficiently:
- Students MUST complete this Google Form to submit a schedule change request or ask a question about their class schedule.
- Counselors will not reply to schedule change requests made by email.
Timeline for schedule change requests and/or questions about your class schedule:
7/29: Returning students (grades 10, 11, 12) can access their class schedule in PowerSchool.
IMPORTANT: Any incoming student or returning student in grades 9, 10, 11, 12 who needs to submit a schedule change request or ask a question about their class schedule must submit a Google Form. The Counseling Department will review Google Forms in the order they are received. Every student who submits a Google Form will receive a reply from the Counseling Department. Do not email the counselors. We will process the Google Forms as quickly as possible.
8/6: Google Form closes. After 8/6 students will not be able to submit schedule change requests.
Note: There is an add/drop period during the first two weeks of each semester. However, a schedule change request made during the two week period is not guaranteed due to master schedule constraints/space availability.

New Chromebooks can be purchased through SHDHS. The cost is $550, which includes a protective case and full insurance coverage for the duration of enrollment at SHDHS. Order a new Chromebook Here
Transfer Chromebooks: If you are transferring a previously owned device, you may drop them off during summer office hours.
- Chromebook must be fully charged
- Please label it clearly with the parent's name, phone number, and student's name.
- Payment of $150 must have been paid before drop off.
ORIENTATION
New Transfer Student Orientation for students will be held on Monday, August 4 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am.
Parents of new transfer students are invited to attend Parent Orientation on Thursday, August 7 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the Drees Homes Auditorium.

IMPORTANT!
All families should have already enrolled in a payment plan through FACTS. Please note that your enrollment at St Henry District High School is not complete until your payment plan with FACTS has been established and student schedules will not be released until you are enrolled in a payment plan.
Enrollment in a FACTS payment plan is required for families receiving assistance or with a balance remaining from a previous year. Failure to enroll in a payment plan or resolve past due balances may result in the student's removal from enrollment at St. Henry District High School.

We are in need of a BINGO LEAD for our upcoming special Labor Day Bingo on Saturday 9/6.
