CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
|

Ms. Cruz nominated Sophomore Dillon McMahon for Crusader of the Week in ASL 2.
"Dillon is always walking into first bell with a "Good morning, Ms. Cruz" and leaving my room with a "Thank you, Ms. Cruz." Then, during class, he practices ASL until his hands are numb. He is not only practicing in class, but I frequently see him teaching friends small phrases or how to sign their names. Dillon asks great questions, helps his peers, and is encouraging to others. Great job, Dillon! Keep up the good work."
Mrs. Heinrich nominated Senior Jade Oleson for Crusader of the Week in Chorus.
"Jade has been an excellent addition to our SHDHS Chorus. Not only is she a talented singer, but she is a tremendous leader. Although it is Jade’s first year in choir, she has made the other students in her section feel welcomed and like they are all a part of something together. I am so proud to see Jade grow from a sophomore in Drama I class to now thriving in music. Thank you for being a great student both then and now!"

FINE ARTS
|

On Tuesday, November 11, St Henry District High School will be honoring our local military veterans for Veterans Day 2025. This is an invitation to veterans who are family members or friends of our students and staff. Our celebration will start at 1:45 in the auditorium.
In order to make this event a success, we would like to have the names of veterans who plan to attend this celebration. A veteran is any military personnel who has served or is currently serving our country in any branch of the Armed Forces.
St. Henry District High School is very excited about this event, as our students wish to acknowledge the devotion and sacrifice our men and women have given to our country.
Please contact Mr. Wyatt (twyatt@shdhs.org) to make a reservation with the following information:
- Name of Veteran
- Branch of the Military
- Years of Service
- Student Contact or relative at SHDHS.

HOMECOMING TAILGATE HELP

Area 7/8th grade students will be invited to the tailgate to experience some Crusader fun and spirit (along with current SHDHS students who will be helping out). All volunteers will be done in time for the start of the Homecoming Football Game Kick-Off! Please consider signing up for a shift - thank you! Sign Up Here
VIP SPONSOR TENT HELP
As you may have seen at the recent Friday Night Lights games, we have an on-field VIP Tent Experience for our amazing corporate sponsors. After the first couple of games, we have fine-tuned our volunteer needs. Please consider helping out in one of the ways outlined below. Thank you!
- (2-3) volunteers from 6-9 pm to work the VIP tents - tidy up tables, make sure guests remain within the designated areas, refill beverage coolers/snack bins as needed
- (10) able-bodied adult volunteers starting at the end of the 4th quarter to help take down the tables/chairs/tents and walk them back up to the Auditorium Lobby - this has been a real struggle for our staff/students (many who have been working since the start of the school day) to get this done after each game. PLEASE consider staying after (especially those parents waiting on their athletes after the game) to help get this done quickly! Sign Up Here!
