What an incredible Open House!
Thank you to the more than 200 families who joined us on Sunday, November 9, to experience life at St. Henry District High School!
- Our Student Ambassadors led amazing tours.
- Every classroom was open and hosted by our dedicated teachers.
- Families visited our chapel, sharing how we live our Catholic faith each day.
- Families learned about our Academic Support and Academic Enhancement Programs.
- The gym was buzzing with booths highlighting our sports, clubs, and extracurriculars.
- The Spirit Shop was hopping with CRU pride!
- And a big thank-you to our Boosters Club for serving up hot dogs, chips, and drinks to keep everyone fueled for the fun!
It was a fantastic afternoon celebrating all that makes SHDHS special!
**Winner of the $500 tuition credit - Congratulations, The Ibarra family!

SHDHS honored our local military veterans in recognition of Veterans Day 2025. Mr. Wyatt and the SHDHS Advanced Band performed the military marches of the Marines, Army, Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy as we acknowledged the veterans from each branch present at the assembly.
Our guest speaker was Bob Francis of the U.S. Air Force, husband of alumna Suzy ('96) and father to Noah ('21), Nathan ('25), and Molly ('29).
To all the veterans who were able to attend, and to those who were not, thank you for your service.

The AP Government students are studying the US government's bureaucracy and each chose a bureaucratic agency. They had to create a "profile" and be able to explain their bureaucracy, and then speed-dated with others to see which agencies worked best with each other.

CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
|
|

Mr. Von Bokern nominated Senior Kacie Costello for Crusader of the Week in Engineering Fundamentals AND AP Physics 1.
"Kacie has proven herself to be dedicated to understanding the subject matter in both her Engineering Fundamentals AND her AP Physics classes. She often comes in early, stays late, and attends flex whenever possible. She has a great work ethic and creativity that will serve her well in her future career as an architect. Congratulations Kacie!"
Mrs.Vaillancourt nominated Junior Bella O'Neill for Crusader of the Week in Algebra 2.
"In Algebra 2, any number of students deserve the Crusader of the Week for a variety of reasons; however, this student has shown tremendous growth since last year's Geometry class. Even though math is not her favorite subject, Bella pushes herself every class to understand the advanced concepts covered in Algebra 2. She participates in discussions and isn't afraid to ask relevant questions that not only deepen her understanding, but help the entire class to grasp the material. Bella, I see how hard you work and I appreciate your dedication and drive! You are a great example of what CRU grit and determination look like. Congratulations, Bella! Keep up the hard work!"
