Dear Parents,

This is a friendly reminder of the key steps and upcoming dates in the admissions process for St. Henry District High School. Whether you have already applied or are planning to begin soon, we are excited to support your family through each step.

1. Applications Are Now Open
If you have not yet applied for the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage you to complete your application soon.

Acceptance Emails Begin January 5

Admission decisions will begin going out on January 5 and will continue on a rolling basis.

Last year, we did have a waitlist, and several programs—especially AAIMS and freshman AP classes—have limited capacity.

If you know your student plans to attend SHDHS, please do not delay submitting your application.

2. Register for the High School Placement Test (HSPT)

The HSPT is a key part of high school placement and scholarship eligibility. We highly recommend taking the test at SHDHS.

Date: Saturday, December 13
Time: 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Location: SHDHS

Students who take the HSPT at SHDHS qualify for the following scholarships:

• Kunz-Lucas Scholarship – Highest-scoring male (25% Tuition & Fees)
• Susan Wolff Memorial Scholarship – Highest-scoring female (25% Tuition & Fees)
• Dr. Edward P. Smith & Mary Klein Smith Scholarship Fund – Top 10% of SHDHS test takers

These optional prep sessions help students feel confident and ready for the test.

4. Shadow Visits & Family Tours

Experience a day at SHDHS or explore campus with a guided tour available throughout the school year.

Scholarship Applications Open
Incoming students may begin submitting SHDHS scholarship applications.

January 8

New Family Information Night
Topics include:

• Interpreting HSPT scores
• Academic programs (AAIMS, CCC, AP, Dual Credit)
• Course placement and scheduling
