Dear Cru Family, We are writing to address concerns and any rumors that may be circulating within our school community. Earlier today, during school hours, a student experienced a personal crisis involving self-harm. School staff became aware of the situation and intervened immediately. We are grateful to share that the student is safe, as no physical harm occurred, and they will be getting the help that they need. At no time was there any danger to other students or staff, as there were no weapons involved. The matter was handled promptly and in accordance with our school’s safety protocols. Out of respect for the privacy of the student and family, we will not be sharing additional details. We ask that you keep this student, their family, and our Cru community in your prayers during this difficult time. As a faith-filled community, we remain committed to supporting the well-being of every student entrusted to our care. Counseling resources are available for any student who may need support. Thank you for your continued partnership, compassion, and commitment to one another. In Christ, Grant Brannen, Principal
