The deadline to purchase tickets for the Crusader Knight of Giving: A Starry Night is Friday, March 13. You will not want to miss this special evening! Not only are we raising important funds to support the school we love, but it will also be a fun night of Crusader fellowship, celebration, and community.
We hope you will join us for this memorable event. Get your ticket today!
Whether you are attending or not, we invite everyone in the SHDHS community to help make this event a success. See below in the "Advancement Office" section for additional ways you can support Crusader Knight of Giving.

Using your Noodle from a student's perspective.
I learned how much effective communication depends on clarity, teamwork, and staying adaptable under pressure. Moving a ball across the room with only pool noodles forced us to slow down, listen carefully, and give simple, precise instructions. It also highlighted how quickly things can fall apart when messages get mixed or when someone assumes others understand their plan. By the end, we were coordinating our movements, checking in with each other, and adjusting our strategy in real time — a reminder that good communication is less about talking and more about making sure everyone is truly aligned.
- Mackenzie Walsh, 9th Grade

CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
|
|

Mrs. Campbell nominated Freshman Brooklyn Kuebler for Crusader of the Week in Biology.
"Brooklyn comes to class with a positive attitude every day, gives her best effort, and supports others in both labwork and classwork. She is also the designated “Birthday Song” leader, as her teacher cannot carry a tune when we sing to those celebrating birthdays in our class. When she knows she will be absent, she is proactive in completing a quiz, taking a test, or gathering the needed worksheets. Her engaging personality and strong work ethic will provide a foundation for success at St. Henry and beyond. Congratulations, Brooklyn!"
Mrs. Vieth nominated Sophomore Hope Gilreath for Crusader of the Week in Geometry.
"Hope always comes to class prepared and ready to learn with a smile on her face. She doesn't back down when the material gets tough. She asks meaningful questions and shows true Cru-grit in her determination to succeed. What I admire most about Hope is how willing she is to help her fellow classmates. When her classmates struggle, she is patient and kind- not only helping them with the assignment but reviewing and explaining the concepts so they can be successful in the class. She is a valued member of our class, and I thoroughly enjoy having her as a student."

Presented by: Dr. Mandy Sanchez - Director of Programming at Culture Reframed
Sponsored by the Diocese of Covington Offices of Safe Environment and Catholic Schools. Click here for a PDF flyer with additional details about the event.
Wednesday, March 25, 2026 - 7:00 PM (doors open at 600 PM)
Location: Diocese of Covington Curia - Bishop Howard Memorial Hall
All (18+) are welcome to attend
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly integrated into our children’s daily lives through educational tools, chatbots, smart toys, and personal digital content. While AI offers significant opportunities for learning and engagement, it also presents unique safety and developmental challenges. Ensuring children’s AI safety requires a multi-layered approach that involves parents, educators, policy makers, and technology designers. Topics will include risks, warning signs of harm, and practical strategies for introducing age-appropriate AI. Dr. Sanchez will also speak about pornography, social media, and overall safety for your child in an increasingly dangerous digital world.
A must-see presentation for anyone who cares about children and the vulnerable in our world today.
Preregistration preferred but not required!
