Dear Parents and Students, Today, we welcomed the Hebron Fire Department to campus to conduct a cardiac response simulation as part of our certification process for becoming a Heart Safe School. A special thank you goes to Mr. Hertzenberg’s 2nd-period World History class, who participated in the drill. This simulation was unannounced, requiring students to react in real time to the situation at hand. Students/teacher assessed the situation, called 911, sent a runner to the office, retrieved the AED, and began CPR until the medics arrived. We are very proud of the way our students responded and handled the scenario. Their quick thinking and teamwork demonstrated the importance of preparation and training in emergency situations. Thank you to our students, faculty, and staff for their participation, and a special thank you to the Hebron Fire Department for partnering with us and helping train our community today.
Grant Brannen, Principal
