SHDHS Gratitude for our Success & A Vision for our Future

Dear Parents, Alumni, Sponsors, and Friends,

It is often said that it takes a village to support a Catholic school, and after the incredible success of our recent fundraising efforts, I am so proud of our village.

On behalf of the Advancement Team, I want to extend our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and generosity. Despite lower attendance this year and the absence of a formal event committee, the community stepped up in a major way to support our mission.

Our Fundraising Impact

We are pleased to share an accounting recap of the fundraisers managed by the Advancement Office this 25-26 school year. Please note that the Annual Appeal accounting will be released in July, following the close of the fiscal year.

Highlights of Our Success

Starry Night Event: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported this magical evening. We owe a special debt of gratitude to our sponsors and the volunteers whose hard work made this event possible.
$10K Raffle: We are thrilled with the turnout for our annual raffle. Thank you to the families and friends who purchased tickets and helped us reach our goals.
Bourbon Raffle: This was a spirited success! Thank you to the generous donors who provided the bourbon and to the patrons who purchased tickets.
Blacktop Fund-a-Need: Our parking lots are getting a much-needed facelift thanks to you. Special thanks to our students and Justsayin Marketing for the "Sad Tire" video—it clearly hit home!

Looking Ahead: We Need Your Help

To continue the tradition of the Crusader Knight of Giving next year, we cannot do it alone. We are currently seeking a Chairperson and a dedicated committee to lead this event. Without a volunteer leadership team and increased community attendance, we simply will not be able to host this event in the coming year.
