Brady Aubuchon was presented with the Rotary Club of Florence Scholarship at an awards ceremony on May 4, 2026. Recipients of this scholarship were chosen based on leadership, service, and a written essay. Congratulations Brady!

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, our friends at Arlinghaus Heating and Air Conditioning took to social media to find educators who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty.
Our very own, Ms. Kyla Brady, was nominated! On Wednesday, a representative from Arlinghaus stopped by the school to present Ms. Brady with a 'swag bag' filled with well-deserved goodies. It was a wonderful way to celebrate her dedication and the impact she has on her students every day.
Please join us in congratulating Ms. Brady and thanking her and all our incredible teachers for the tireless work they do every single day!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week at St. Henry District High School was truly out of this galaxy!
Our Star Wars-themed week, “A Galaxy of Gratitude,” celebrated our incredible teachers and staff May 4–8 with fun themes, treats, and meals each day.
A special THANK YOU to our amazing families, sponsors, and our FEC for making the week so memorable!
Monday – “Rise of the Breakfast.”
The week kicked off with a delicious breakfast cart from Fox and Beans, generously donated by the Gross Family.
Tuesday – “The Healthy Side of the Force.”
Healthy snacks and refreshments were sponsored by the Sevens & Flanagan Families.
Wednesday – “May the Treats Be With You.”
Sweet treats for the staff were sponsored by the McIntire & Duckworth Families, along with amazing cupcakes from Rebecca Noble Yum.
Thursday – “Raffle of the Resistance.”
Staff enjoyed raffles and prizes sponsored by SHDHS Families & Friends and the FEC.
Friday – “Return of the Hot Lunch.”
The week concluded with a hot lunch sponsored by Arlinghaus Plumbing, Heating & Air.
Thank you to everyone who helped show our teachers and staff just how appreciated they are. Your generosity and support helped make this week a huge success!

St. Henry High School proudly congratulates its student musicians in the Immanuel School of Music for their recent achievements at the 2026 WorldStrides Heritage Festival Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. CRUSADER OF THE WEEK

Mrs. VonHandorf nominated Senior Ellise Armbruster for Crusader of the Week in Art 3 Honors.
"Ellise is receiving Crusader of the Week for Art 3 Honors as a result of her hard work, improvement, reliability, and fun personality in class. She is great with her peers and is really easy to work with. She listens well to directions and gives great insight. She has added a lot to our art room environment this year, and it has been a joy to teach her one final time. You will be missed, Ellise! Way to rock!!!"
Mr. Fay nominated Sophomore Violet Main for Crusader of the Week in Chemistry Honors.
"Violet comes to class ready to learn each day. She is always one of the first students to answer questions and to engage in on-topic discussion. Not only does she answer questions, but she also asks excellent follow-up questions to ensure that she has understood concepts correctly. Violet keeps track of the course calendar, always seeming to know what is planned for class and when assignments are due. In short, she is the quintessential student, and her teachers appreciate her excellence."
Mrs. Duff nominated Junior Stella Skalski for Crusader of the Week in Precalculus Honors.
"Stella shows Cru Grit every day as she hustles her way down the 300 hallway from art class to make sure she isn't late for 2nd period. She arrives in the classroom with a positive attitude, ready to engage with the material every day and make the most of her learning opportunities. Stella demonstrates impressive organizational skills and uses Flex whenever she needs extra help or a quiet place to get work done. It has been a pleasure having you in class this year, Stella! Keep up the A+ effort!"

CLASS OF 2027 FAMILIES - SUMMER WORKSHOPS
The SHDHS Counseling and English Departments will be hosting a two-day college application workshop. Most college applications officially open on August 1st, and these workshops will put St. Henry seniors ahead of schedule.
*Please note these events are optional. Also, seniors are not required to attend both days, but we recommend it if possible.
We understand some 26-27 seniors will be unable to attend due to previously scheduled commitments. If a senior is not able to attend, we will give an overview of the information covered during the workshops in the first week of school when the counselors present in English classes and at the Senior Parent Night on Thursday, August 27, 2026. However, seniors who attend the workshop will find it beneficial, as it will give them a head start on the college application process.
