Dear Crusader Families,
As we conclude the 2022-2023 school year, it has made me reflect on all the great things happening around our school community. Our Catholic identity promotes the values of the Catholic faith and provides a faith-based education to SHDHS students. This past year, we have provided opportunities for students to practice their faith through weekly mass, reconciliation, and faith-filled retreats. Students have also completed over 13,000 hours of community service!
Building on our academic excellence, this year, we have four Governor’s Scholars Program recipients and one for the Governor’s School for the Arts. The class of 2023 will receive over 10 million dollars in scholarships. We have implemented an SOS flex system, where students use workshops to enhance their academic achievement. Our Crusader Check and Connect system lets parents track their child's progress online.
This past year, in our Drees Auditorium, SHDHS students performed in “Wizard of Oz” and “Bedtime Stories.” We hosted many outside organizations in the beautiful facility. We introduced our new Gumz Family Track and Field, which will be completed this summer with a new track. We thank all our donors and sponsors for supporting our SHDHS community.
After careful consideration and analysis, we have determined that a 5% tuition and school fee increase are necessary to maintain our educational excellence. Please note that we will continue to offer financial aid and scholarship opportunities as we look forward to the future of SHDHS. We want to continue to grow spiritually and academically and provide our mission of catholic identity with academic excellence.

Tuition rates for the 2023-2024 school year

General Fee is $850.00 per child.
All tuition payments go through FACTMgt. All new families must log in and create their profile; by May 19, 2023. Once you create your account by entering your information and selecting your payment plan, then your account will go to “pending.” Existing family agreements will roll over. If you have an existing account and will have an incoming freshman in the 2023-2024 school year, the SHDHS will add your new student to your existing account.
Tuition agreements will be sent out by May 26, 2023. You will then need to accept your tuition agreement to finalize your payment plan.
Families who choose the “pay in full by July 31” FACTS agreement (FACTS payment date of July 20) will receive a $120.00 discount ($100 prepayment credit and $20 reimbursement of the FACTS processing fee). COMPLETION OF 2022-2023 TUITION PAYMENTS - If you have chosen the 12-month payment option, your final payment will be in June 2023 for the 2022-2023 school year. Balances for the 2022-2023 school year must be paid in full by June 30, 2023, for your student to return in the Fall or for senior transcripts to be released.
CHROMEBOOKS - If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to purchase the Chromebook your student will use for the next four years. Please follow this link to view all pertinent information regarding cost, device specs, insurance, etc. You can also make the final purchase on the same page. REQUIRED BOOKS AND SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS - Some classes require students to purchase books and supplementary materials. Materials will be invoiced through your FACTS account (not added to your tuition, but a separate invoice).
YEARBOOKS - Will not be included in tuition this year. You will order/ purchase a yearbook when they are available. More details will be available at the beginning of the school year.
