CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
Mr. VonBokern nominates Sophomore John Lehmkuhl for Crusader of the Week for Chemistry.
"John is a model of attentiveness and engagement in the classroom. He is always on task, ready to participate, and follows all the classroom rules. He almost always has a smile and his hand in the air - ready to answer questions. Congratulations, John!"
Ms. Brady nominates Junior Stefany Nix for Crusader of the Week for AP United States History (more affectionately known as APUSH)
"Stef has been an absolute rockstar in our course. If I could give this award out every week, it is safe to say that Stef would challenge to take the prize. She is consistently engaged, diligent in her work, and intentional when taking notes and completing Main Idea Logs. As a result of her dedication, she has scored exceptionally well on our various assessments. Her written responses have also demonstrated a mastery of the content and a depth of understanding, which illustrates that she is connecting the content to broader concepts across history and other subjects; this is not an easy skill to acquire. Well done, Stef. Keep up the good work!"
