CRUSADER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Hasken nominates Junior Kayden Trieu for Crusader of the Week for Spanish 2. "Kayden has worked hard all year to fully understand the course material. He is always the first to participate and help his classmates. He has a super positive and enthusiastic attitude in class and is always respectful and kind to his classmates and teachers. He also asks thoughtful questions about the material and tries his best every day. ¡Felicidades Diego!"
"Having a student like Elijah in the classroom is what makes teaching rewarding. Elijah not only enjoys the content of my class, but he actively gets the rest of the class excited for activities along with him. When Elijah is absent, the class always asks about him and says they can't wait to see him when he comes back. As a teacher, I appreciate Elijah's determination to always put on a great performance, no matter what the subject of the skit or drama is. He is an excellent example for future Crusaders, and I am proud to have him as my student." |

ESPORTS
St. Henry District High School Esports: Welcoming Registered 8th Graders for the Spring Season Another Esports season is about to kick off at St. Henry, and the spring season is open to 8th graders! We offer three game titles: Super Smash Bros, Rocket League, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. If we have enough interest, we have also played Splatoon 3 and League of Legends. SHDHS is proud to offer Esports as an officially sanctioned KHSAA sport. We compete against schools across Kentucky through the PlayVS website. St. Henry has won three State semifinalist trophies and a State Runners-up trophy. We hope to add more in the coming seasons! All games are played on-site in our Computer Lab/Media Center at 5:00 pm on their designated days: Splatoon 3 and League of Legends (potentially) on Tuesday, Super Smash Bros on Wednesday, and Rocket League and Mario Kart on Thursday. Classroom Showcase/Club NewsCONGRATULATIONS TO THE SHDHS ACADEMIC TEAM
Earlier this week, the SHDHS Academic Team competed in team and individual events at the annual Governor's Cup tournament. After a grueling evening of competition, the CRU Quick Recall team swept the field, defeating Walton-Verona, Ryle, and Conner (twice).
